The Brompton C Line 1975 Edition Mid Handlebar is a limited edition tribute to 50 years of innovation, excellence, and the people who make it possible. Just 1,975 of these bikes have been made.
Proudly handmade in London since 1975. The Brompton C Line transforms from a go-anywhere vehicle to a small, locked package in under 20 seconds. Easy to lift, carry or store. You can take it on trains, tuck it in car boots or under restaurant tables. For fifty years, owners across the world have customised their trusty steel companions to suit their needs.
The 1975 Edition comes with a special Thermal Fade finish inspired by the colours created during the crucially important frame brazing process. A highly skilled craft, Brompton's brazers are trained in-house for 18-months. Some Master Brazers have been crafting Brompton bikes for over 20 years – passing on their well-honed skills to the newer team members. Each brazer has their own unique style and a small signature at the bottom of every bike frame marks that maker.
