Brompton C Line 1975 Edition Limited Edition Folding Bike NEW & BOXED
This is a brand new Brompton C Line 1975 Edition limited edition folding bike, unused and unboxed only for photography. It comes complete with the 1975 Edition bottle holder, zip case, and all original packaging. Just 1,975 of these bikes were made as a tribute to 50 years of Brompton innovation and craftsmanship.
The Brompton C Line is a British-made steel folding bicycle handcrafted in London since 1975. It transforms from a rideable bike to a compact locked package in under 20 seconds, small enough to tuck under a restaurant table, fit in a car boot, or carry onto a train. The steel frame is durable and designed to last, with many Brompton owners customising their bikes over decades of use.
The 1975 Edition features a distinctive Thermal Fade lacquer finish inspired by the colours that emerge during the frame brazing process. Brompton's brazers train in-house for 18 months, and some Master Brazers have been crafting frames for over 20 years. Each frame carries a small signature at the bottom marking the individual maker, a detail that reflects the handmade nature of every bike. This edition also includes a brazer's coin and anniversary serial plate celebrating the milestone.
The bike runs a single-speed hub gear system with mechanical rim brakes in a blue colour. It comes fitted with a 1975 Edition saddle and the commemorative bottle holder and small zip case. The compact design means it's easy to lift and carry, making it suited to commuters who mix cycling with public transport, or anyone who needs to store a bike in a small space. For Brompton enthusiasts and collectors, this limited edition represents a piece of the brand's 50-year history.
