BRILLIANT BICYCLES TRI-1 FOLDABLE TRICYCLE BIKE (17" FRAME w/ 20" WHEELS) BASKET

The Brilliant Bicycles Tri-1 is a foldable tricycle with a 17-inch frame and 20-inch wheels, designed for riders who want the stability of three wheels combined with the portability of a folding bike. The compact frame and rear basket make it practical for short trips around town or carrying groceries and small items, whilst the foldable design means you can collapse it down for storage or transport when not in use.

This is a second-hand example that's been tested and ridden a handful of times, with all the main systems in working order. The chain has snapped during recent use and will need replacing before you ride it, so you'll want to take note of the old chain left on the bike to match the size when ordering a replacement. The seat could also benefit from renewal if you plan regular use. Cosmetically the bike shows its age and history, so check the photographs to see the condition as it stands.

Given its second-hand status, a service or bit of TLC wouldn't go amiss before putting it into regular use. We haven't serviced it ourselves and don't have details of its full history, so it's worth giving it a once-over and addressing the chain issue straightaway. The foldable design and rear basket make it suited to gentle urban riding and errands, whilst the tricycle layout offers the stability some riders prefer over a conventional two-wheeled bike. Collection is available from Sydenham in South East London, and the bike can be held once payment is received until a convenient time for pickup.
