Bianchi Aquiletta folding bicycle. Rebuilt wheels with Sun 20" alloy rims and Halo stainless steel spokes. Fully serviced throughout, with a new Schwalbe front tyre, new Schwalbe inner tubes, new bell, new lights and new wiring. Re-plated crankset, handlebars, handlebar stem, chainwheel disc and brake levers. Fitted with a pump, built-in spring and luggage rack, dynamo, prop stand, a full chaincase and alloy brake calipers. The three-speed Sturmay-Archer hub gear is dated 1969 and the overall gear ratios are 47", 63" and 84". A new Schwalbe spare tyre is included. This nice bicycle has a Coventry-Eagle head badge and frame label for the UK market at the time and it still carries its original supplier labels, Hammond's Cycles at Malvern Link. The handlebar stem height, saddle height and frame fold are all tool-free. The frame fold means it will stow easily in a car boot for travel if needed and as a 1969-70 bicycle it has earned it place in cycle history.
