avelo x row folding bike 24-inch wheels
£42.30 GBP
The Avelo x Row is a folding bike with 24-inch wheels, designed to pack down small enough for storage at home, in an office, or on public transport. The steel frame is built to handle daily riding, and the black finish keeps it practical and understated. At this wheel size, the bike sits in the middle ground between compact folding bikes with tiny wheels and full-sized commuters, offering a reasonable balance between portability and ride feel.
The bike runs V-brake direct pull brakes, which are straightforward and reliable for urban riding and don't require much maintenance. The derailleur gears give you multiple ratios to choose from, so you can adjust your effort depending on terrain and how you're feeling on the day. This setup is familiar to most cyclists and keeps things mechanical without being overly complicated.
The 24-inch wheels roll more naturally than smaller folding bikes, which means you maintain momentum better on flat ground and don't need to work as hard keeping pace. The fold makes it practical for commuters who need to combine cycling with other transport, or for anyone short on storage space. The steel construction gives the frame decent durability for everyday use, and the straightforward brake and gear setup means you can sort most maintenance yourself if needed.
