Airnimal Chameleon Folding Bike. Very Rare Naked Lacquer Finish. Stunning!

This is an Airnimal Chameleon folding bike finished in a rare naked lacquer that shows off the aluminium frame beautifully. The Chameleon is a 24-inch folding bike built around a compact aluminium frame, designed to pack down small while maintaining responsive handling when you're riding. It's a genuinely capable urban folder that rides quite differently to mass-market alternatives – the geometry and build quality mean you actually make progress rather than just spinning your legs.

The drivetrain mixes SRAM and Shimano Ultegra components, giving you solid shifting performance and reliable braking through centre-pull calliper brakes. The wheelset uses Airnimal Ultegra rims with Schwalbe tyres, which is a proper spec for a folding bike and handles the combination of quick acceleration and sustained cruising that folding bikes tend to demand. It comes with the original bar stem, which is genuinely rare on used folders and suggests the bike has been well cared for.

Several new components have been fitted recently, including a BX seatpost, fresh brake pads and cables, new gear inner cables, and Brooks honey-coloured handgrips. There's also a matching Brooks honey saddle included, though it hasn't been fitted yet. The frame shows only minor usage marks and is in remarkably good condition for a bike that's seen real riding.
