This 26-inch folding mountain bike is designed for riders who need versatility across different terrain and situations, from daily commuting to weekend off-road exploration. The folding frame collapses down to 95cm x 100cm x 35cm, making it practical to store in a flat, carry on public transport, or fit in a car boot when you need to take it somewhere. At 19kg, it's manageable for carrying short distances, though it's heavier than typical urban folders due to the mountain bike geometry and components.

The frame is built from high-carbon steel, which gives the bike sturdiness and decent shock absorption on rough ground. The 21-speed drivetrain uses a three-chainring front and seven-sprocket rear setup, providing a broad range for tackling both steep climbs and faster descents. Shifting happens through finger and thumb levers positioned on the handlebars, making it straightforward to find the right gear while riding. The dual disc brakes—both front and rear mechanical versions—offer reliable stopping power in wet conditions and on technical terrain where rim brakes would struggle.

The geometry sits between a road bike and a proper mountain bike. The 26-inch wheels with knobbled rubber tyres are chunky enough for loose surfaces and roots, but smaller than full-size mountain wheels, which means the bike feels quite responsive in town and less tiring on harder paths. Spoked construction and textured tread help with grip when conditions are damp or loose. The front and rear suspension absorbs impacts from potholes and rough trails without locking you into a rigid, harsh ride.

Day to day, the bike works well for someone alternating between tarmac commuting and occasional off-road riding. The seat height adjusts by around 10cm to accommodate different leg lengths, and the sponge-padded saddle with ergonomic handlebars keeps your hands and shoulders more comfortable on longer rides. Anti-slip pedals and a sturdy kickstand are fitted as standard. Mudguards front and rear stop spray kicking up onto clothes and the frame, and reflectors on the seat, wheels, and front improve visibility if you're out in low light.

It suits riders between 1.6m and 1.8m tall and can safely carry up to 100kg. The bike comes 85 per cent assembled, so you'll need to attach the wheels, handlebars, and pedals using the included tools and the English manual. Assembly takes an hour or so if you're unfamiliar with bikes, though nothing here is particularly technical.

The frame comes in blue or white, both finished with spray paint that resists corrosion and minor abrasion, though you'll want to wipe it down after muddy rides. The folding design makes it genuinely practical for mixed-modal commuting—cycling to the station, folding it, and carrying it onto a train—or for throwing in the van before heading to a trail centre. For longer distances on smooth roads, a conventional rigid frame would feel faster and lighter, but this bike handles the trade-off between portability and off-road capability well enough for most riders balancing town and countryside use.
