2023 Brompton C Line Urban M6L Folding Bicycle in Ocean Blue - Hardly Used

This is a 2023 Brompton C Line folding bicycle in Ocean Blue, a rare colour for the Urban range. Built in September 2023, it's covered just 270 miles from new and remains in excellent condition throughout. The bike is a 6-speed model with the classic Brompton steel frame and compact fold that makes it genuinely portable for commuting and mixed urban use. It comes equipped with a Swytch Air E-bike conversion kit fitted a week after purchase, which adds electric assistance without making the bike feel significantly heavier than older conversion systems. The Swytch kit uses the later version with an improved controller and a neater battery mounting bracket, and spare batteries and components are available directly from Swytch if needed down the line.

The mechanical side is in perfect working order. The 3-speed Sturmey Archer BWR hub gear and 2-speed derailleur shifters with underbar levers change smoothly through all gears. Both brakes are sharp and responsive, with the side-pull calipers in good condition. The front tyre is a Schwalbe Marathon Racer with plenty of tread still visible, and the rear tyre is equally good. All brake pads have life remaining. The 16-inch wheels sit in shiny silver rims, and the saddle and soft rubber handlebar grips are both in excellent condition. A Lezyne frame-fitted pump is included, along with a rear LED saddle rail mounted USB charging light and a front light. The bike also features reflectors all round and an integral Ping bell for safety and visibility.

The Swytch conversion adds a practical electric element for commuters who want to take the strain out of hills or longer journeys while keeping a compact urban folding bike. The original black wheels that came with the Urban Black Edition are included should the new owner want to revert the bike to standard specification in future. If preferred, the seller can replace the rear wheel with a matching silver BWR wheel to keep the wheelset colour consistent across the Swytch kit. The bike has been fully checked over and is ready to ride. It comes with a Lezyne frame pump, rear and front lights with USB charging, and all the reflectors and bells needed for commuting. Cash on collection is available from Crowborough, or the bike can be sent folded in a padded box to UK mainland addresses for free.
