The Ecosmo E20TF01BLR is a folding electric tandem bike designed for two riders who want assisted pedalling without sacrificing portability. Built on a hi-tensile steel frame with a 20-inch wheel setup, it folds down to 110x34x66cm, making it genuinely practical for storage or carrying on public transport, though at 31kg it's worth noting you'll need reasonable strength to lift and move it regularly. The bike arrives 95% assembled—handlebars, pedals, seats and chain simply slot into place—so you're looking at a straightforward setup rather than a full build from scratch.

The motor is a 250W rear hub design running on a 36V 10AH lithium battery, which gives a maximum assisted speed of 25km/h and a range of up to 60km depending on terrain and how much you pedal. The battery tucks into the seat post and charges fully in 4–6 hours, with over 1000 charge cycles expected from the LG cells. An LED dashboard lets you adjust power assistance across five levels, and the motor delivers smooth power delivery that ramps up as you need it. As a tandem, both riders can pedal independently, which means you're not locked into synchronized movement—useful when one person wants to work harder than the other.

Mechanically, you get seven-speed Shimano gears with derailleur shifting, mechanical disc brakes for stopping power, and 20x1.75-inch tyres. Front and rear mudguards come fitted, along with a hub motor, rear carrier rack, front light and kickstand. Seat heights adjust from 80–95cm on the front and 70–97cm on the rear, so riders of different sizes can get reasonable positioning. The maximum load is 180kg in total, with individual riders limited to 100kg each.
