14" All-Terrain Folding bike, 36V 7.8Ah Battery, 25KM/h, Full Disc-U14R Grey
The SAMEBIKE U14R is a 14-inch folding electric bike designed for urban commuting and short-range trips where portability and storage space matter. The aluminium alloy frame folds down to 73 by 42 by 60.5 centimetres, making it genuinely compact enough to store in a cupboard, under a desk, or take on public transport. At 21.5kg, it's light enough to carry up stairs or onto a train when you need to, though it's still a solid bit of kit rather than featherweight.
Power comes from a 36V 7.8Ah lithium battery that delivers a maximum range of 50 kilometres on a single charge. The 250W brushless motor has a thumb throttle, so you can engage pure electric mode without pedalling, or switch to pedal-assist across five assistance levels depending on terrain and how much effort you want to put in. There's also a traditional pedalling mode if the battery runs flat or you simply want to ride unpowered. Charging takes four to six hours, and there's a USB charger included.
The bike hits 25 kilometres per hour, which is the legal assisted speed limit in the UK. The straight-leg fork provides basic suspension to soak up rough surfaces, and you get mechanical disc brakes on both wheels for reliable stopping power. The 14-inch tyres (14 by 2.12 inches) are narrow, which means the bike stays nimble and compact, though they do feel less cushioned on rough ground compared to bigger tyres. A 5-speed shifter gives you basic gearing, with an LCD display on the bars showing battery level, speed, and distance travelled.
The high carbon steel frame is robust despite the lightweight design, and the bike carries a payload of up to 100 kilograms. It measures 135 by 60.5 by 87 to 104 centimetres when unfolded, so the wheelbase is short and the geometry is upright, making it easy to manoeuvre in traffic or tight spaces. There's a rear rack for carrying small loads, and the bright headlight comes as standard.
This is a bike suited to people with short commutes, those living in flats or small homes, and anyone who needs to combine cycling with public transport. If you're after a longer-range ride or want to tackle serious hills, you might find the 36V battery and 250W motor limiting, but for daily urban trips and the flexibility of folding everything away at the end of the day, it does the job well. The bike is refurbished stock and comes in very good condition with only minor cosmetic marks, at significantly less than the original retail price.
