Turquoise Blue 2017 M6L 6-speed Brompton Black Edition + Ortlieb Bag + Toolkit

This is a 2017 Brompton M6L folding bike in turquoise blue, a British-made steel frame with 16-inch wheels and a 6-speed Sturmey Archer hub gear. It's the sort of compact folder built for London commuters who need to combine cycling with public transport, and it comes with a matching Ortlieb waterproof bag—one of the discontinued models that's become hard to find, especially in this condition—plus an unused Brompton toolkit. Everything is in excellent condition and comes with the original Brompton box.

The bike has barely been used. It was recently purchased from a brick-and-mortar bike shop with a receipt to prove it, fully serviced before sale, but the new owner picked up an electric bike shortly after and never actually rode it. It's sat unused since, so mechanically it's as good as it gets without being ridden. The steel frame and side-pull caliper brakes are straightforward to maintain, and the 6-speed hub gear gives enough range for London's mix of flat streets and modest hills without the complexity of derailleurs. At 16 inches, the wheels fold the bike down small enough to fit under a desk or into a train luggage rack, though they do require a bit more legwork than larger wheels on longer flat stretches.

The bike is available for collection from Dulwich, SE22 0LN. Short-notice collection can be arranged between Wednesday 8th and Tuesday 14th July, or collection with longer notice is possible outside those dates. The seller isn't prepared to post due to a previous bad experience with a couriered Brompton, so collection only. For any questions or to arrange a time, contact 07472 926237.
