This was my grandmother's Raleigh Stowaway 3 folding bike which we think she bought in the 80s.

It has been stored for a very long time - probably 20 years. My father had a go at fixing it up about 6 years ago, replacing the seat and the original white brake cables with modern black ones, and the brake blocks. He didn't use it much and it has just been sitting in his shed for the last 4 years. He has now asked me to sell it for him. 

I've cleaned it up and oiled it a bit, and replaced the flat front tyre - new inner tube. When I tried to test ride it, the gears were stuck in one speed but with oil and gentle persuasion it now switches freely between 2 gears and sometimes the third one. 

The brakes are not quite right, I think - they do work but aren't very strong. 

It's sort of "ready to ride" but really if you're not a bike person you will want someone to service it for you and get the brakes and gears in order. 

Collection from Woking, GU21 (Goldsworth Park). Once a week I go to Fareham (M3 or A3 then M27) and once a month I go to Barnsley (up the M1) so as it's a folding bike I can deliver it as long as you're on the way or just a very short detour. It's really not going to be a postable item.
