This is the lightest folding e bike available. Designed and engineered by British motorsport specialists, Prodrive. The frame is made from carbon fibre as is the fork, handle bars and saddle. The rear “triangle” is machined from billet aluminium. The motor, battery and electronics are all housed in the rear wheel, controlled via Bluetooth using the handlebar mounted controller or through the app on your smart phone. This means the wheels can easily be swapped out, without disconnecting any cables, for the included carbon fibre tri spoke wheels, making this an incredibly lightweight weight folding single speed. As you can see from the photos it’s in incredible condition, pretty much brand new. The carbon wheels have never been ridden, the front one does have a few minor scuffs around the hub area from storage, I’ve tried to show in the photos. The included charger plugs directly into the rear hub, I topped it up today and took it for a 5.4km test ride on turbo mode and it used 15% capacity, obviously range depends on many factors, the max range is supposed to be around 50km. This is a very unique bike in almost unused condition, to buy this bike new costs £4,500 without the carbon wheelset, I don’t think these are now available separately but I believe were around £1200.
