Looks great.\u003cbr\u003e\nThis has been hand built by Ben at Kinetics in Glasgow with the following customisations:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e20\" hand built wheels with Schwalbe Marathon Plus\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n11 speed Alfine hub with Jtek shifter.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n60 tooth chainring.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\nBelt drive.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\nTRP Spyre cable disk brakes\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\nFront and rear battery lights.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\nExtended seat and high bars (good for taller riders)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e20\" wheels makes this into a completely different bike. The ride is different, the handling is different, no more twitchiness - it rides like a normal bike.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe custom rear rack will take normal bicycle panniers (without the bottom clip), which is useful for touring purposes.\u003cbr\u003e\nAlfine gears - great range and a million times better than the awful Brompton gears.\u003cbr\u003e\nBelt drive - no mess, no oil, no maintenance, great for commuting and clothes.\u003cbr\u003e\nSpyre disk brakes are easy as pie to adjust and maintain and the brakes are very sharp indeed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 60th chainring gives two good low gears, perfect if you are somewhere hilly. There's still a good range at the top. I'm not a speed demon cyclist though so I can't assess whether this is a fast machine - probably not though.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStill folds down small enough to carry on public transport and is light enough to carry easily. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bike has also been registered with the British Bike Register. There is a QR code sticker and the frame has been etched with the registration nnumber - a great theft deterrent just in case you ever do have to lock it up somewhere. This can be transferred to the new owner for free, which will save you a few quid. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you want one of these from Ben, be prepared to wait 6,7 months or even longer.
