Hummingbird Prodrive Folding Bike Carbon Tri-Spokes mint condition+£174 CarryBag

The Hummingbird Prodrive is a carbon folding bike designed for urban commuting and travel, built by the engineering team behind Prodrive's motorsport operations. This particular example is in mint condition and has been ridden fewer than three times, kept indoors and maintained carefully since purchase. It comes with the official Prodrive folding carry bag and a mudguard set for all-weather use.

The frame and forks are handmade carbon fibre, and the bike weighs just 6.9kg, making it genuinely lightweight for a folding bike. The wheels are carbon fibre tri-spokes, which contribute to both the low weight and the overall stiffness of the bike. It's fitted with a single-speed drivetrain designed for efficiency, and the brakes are side-pull calliper units. The colour is red, and the 16-inch wheels are typical of folding bike proportions, keeping the folded package compact without sacrificing too much speed or momentum on regular commutes.

Being a single speed, the Prodrive works best on relatively flat terrain or gentle inclines typical of urban environments. The carbon construction means the frame is responsive and there's minimal flex through the pedals, even with the smaller wheel size. For city commuting with a fold-and-carry routine, or for someone who travels regularly and needs a bike that doesn't take up much space when packed away, this bike covers those needs efficiently.

The condition and specification here represent a significant saving on the original retail price. The inclusion of the carry bag and mudguards means everything needed for daily use and transport is included in the package.
