Full Size Dahon Cadenza Folding Bike 8 Speed Alfine Hub 26" Wheels £ Disc Brakes

This is a full-size Dahon Cadenza folding bike in grey aluminium, built around 26-inch wheels and designed to fold down to a compact size without sacrificing the ride of a regular frame. It's a rare find in excellent condition and has covered very few miles since it left the factory. The XL designation on the frame actually runs closer to a medium-large size in practice, so it suits riders in that middle height range well.

The bike uses an 8-speed Alfine hub gear with rapid-fire shifters, which keeps the drivetrain clean and straightforward. Mechanical disc brakes handle stopping power reliably in wet and dry conditions alike. The Schwalbe Big Apple comfort tyres are fitted as standard, which means the bike rolls smoothly over rough surfaces and absorbs vibration from poor road surfaces without needing suspension. The folding mechanism is straightforward yet genuinely clever in how it works, and the engineering is typically solid for Dahon's established reputation with patented folding systems.

Day-to-day, this works as both a practical commuter and a bike that can be stored or transported when needed. The 26-inch wheels give you decent momentum and roll over obstacles with relative ease, while still allowing the frame to fold down for storage in a hallway, under a desk, or on a train. All the required components are included and the photos form a significant part of the listing detail, so do check those through carefully. The bike is available for collection from Lincoln or Stamford in Lincolnshire by arrangement.
