ENGUIE model Hybrid/battery fold up city bike

The ENGUIE is a folding hybrid electric bike designed for city commuting and urban travel. It combines pedal power with battery assistance, making it suited to riders who want flexibility in how they approach their daily journeys. The aluminium frame keeps weight down, and the whole bike folds into a compact package for carrying on public transport or storing in a small flat or office.

The drivetrain uses derailleur gears with two distinct operating modes. There's a 1-5 speed electric system controlled by buttons on the handlebars, which gives you battery-assisted riding across five power levels. Switch to manual pedalling and you get a separate 1-6 gear range for traditional cycling when the battery is depleted or you simply prefer to ride under your own steam. The bike also features a rev-and-go option that lets you move forward without pedalling, and a cruise control function to ease long stretches at steady speed.

The front light runs off the battery, and the integrated speedo displays your current speed, mileage covered, and remaining range. Range varies depending on your riding speed, weather conditions, and rider weight, so real-world figures will differ from theoretical maximums. The tyres have good tread remaining, all brakes are functioning properly, and the bike is in very good working condition throughout. It's been used mildly and shows minimal wear.

The bike comes with a charger and two ignition keys. It works well for urban commuters who want electric assistance on demanding commutes but also appreciate the option to fold the bike flat and take it with them on trains or buses. The combination of electric and manual modes makes it practical for mixed commute patterns where you might cycle part of the journey and use other transport for the rest.
