Ecosmo 20TF01BL 20 Inch Wheel Folding Tandem Bicycle Bike - Black

The Ecosmo 20TF01BL is a 20-inch wheel folding bicycle built for couples or anyone wanting a compact tandem that's easy to transport. The steel frame folds down to a manageable size, making it practical for storing in a flat, loading into a car, or taking on trips where a regular tandem would be awkward. At 20 inches, the wheels are small enough to contribute to the fold whilst still providing decent stability when riding.

This folding tandem uses V-type brakes and a 7-speed derailleur system, which gives enough gearing for mixed terrain without overcomplicating maintenance. The steel construction is robust and straightforward to look after, and the straightforward brake and gear setup means there's nothing fiddly to learn if you're new to riding a tandem. The 7 speeds handle gentle hills reasonably well and cope with flat cruising without strain.

Day to day, a folding tandem like this works well for couples wanting to ride together without needing two separate bikes, or for anyone who needs the flexibility of a bike that doesn't take up permanent space. The compact size when folded means it fits in spaces where a standard tandem simply wouldn't. This particular example has seen regular use and shows signs of that, but has been maintained well throughout its time in use.
