Decathlon B'Twin Folding Bike Tilt 500

The B'Twin Tilt 500 is a folding bike from Decathlon designed for compact storage and urban riding. It uses an aluminium frame with a side-folding mechanism that works smoothly, making it straightforward to collapse when you need to store it or take it on public transport. The 20-inch wheels strike a practical balance between manoeuvrability in tight spaces and maintaining reasonable momentum on everyday rides.

The bike runs a Shimano 7-speed derailleur drivetrain, which gives enough range for moderate hills and varied terrain without adding complexity or weight. Stopping power comes from V-brakes front and rear, and both wheels are in good condition with no issues to worry about. The whole bike is finished in blue and sits in working order throughout, making it ready to ride straight away.

This particular example has covered only around 100 kilometres since being purchased used in 2023, so there's plenty of life left in it. There are a couple of minor marks to note: the saddle is scuffed from use, and there's a D-lock attached to the handlebar for which the key has been lost, so you'd need to either remove the lock or have it cut off depending on what you plan to do with it. Beyond that, the bike presents as a solid, low-mileage commuter that's been lightly used.

It's suited to anyone after a space-saving folder for casual urban riding or combining cycling with bus and train journeys. The Tilt 500 won't challenge you on longer rides or steep climbs, but for short trips around town and the flexibility of taking your bike with you, it does the job well.
