Dawes Kingpin classic folding 3 speed bike, in good working condition

This is a Dawes Kingpin classic folding 3 speed bike.

This bike is in used condition, but is in good working order having had thorough clean and oiling. The paintwork is in generally good condition, as are the full-length mudguards. The chrome on the wheels is showing its age, although the rims are in good order, allowing the brakes to work smoothly.

It has a three speed Sturmey-Archer gear system and comes complete with front and rear lights, kick stand and luggage rack. The folding mechanism and quick-release handle-bar and seat adjusters are in good working order, so this could still be used as a commuting bike, but also for taking on holiday. The saddle is an old-fashioned but very comfortable sprung seat, giving a nice smooth ride.

In short, this bike still has plenty of years of use left in it - it really is a good example of this classic British-made bike.
