Up for sale is a Dahon Vitesse D8 folding bicycle. Dahon is one of the world’s leading folding bike brands, known for their lightweight alloy frames and reliable folding mechanisms. This particular model features an 8-speed Shimano drivetrain.
​Please Note: This bike is being sold in "Spares or Repair" condition. It has been stored for a while and will require a basic tune-up/servicing before it is road-worthy.
​Condition Report
​Frame & Fork: Solid condition with some cosmetic scuffs and marks from use (see photos). The folding hinges for the frame and handlepost are functional.
​Brakes: Working. The V-brakes engage and stop the wheels.
​Gears: Equipped with a Shimano Altus rear derailleur. The shifter clicks, but the chain is rusted (see below).
​Chain: Heavily rusted. This will almost certainly need to be replaced by the new owner.
​Tires/Tubes: Currently flat. I have not tested if they just need air or if the inner tubes need replacing. The tires are 20-inch Kenda/Dahon brand.
​Extras: Includes rear pannier rack, mudguards (fenders), and a kickstand.
