Dahon Vitesse D7 Folding Fold-up Foldable Bike

A nice example of the Dahon Vitesse D7, and to quote Dahon.com  “..the Vitesse D7 is one of our most popular bikes. High-quality, lightweight and fast on the fold, its easy portability makes it perfect for multi-modus travel.”

Great for urban life when bike storage is a challenge, and its light (circa 11.2kg) weight takes the strain out of lifting it upstairs. Drop the handlebars and fold the pedals to squeeze it in to a narrow corridor, or fold it into its most compact shape to put it in the corner. Folds down to 29 x 80 x 66cm.

Adjustable height handlebars and saddle so you can find a riding position that suits you. (Dahon.com says “Suitable for riders weighing up to 105kg or 230lbs and 142 – 193 cm (4’8” – 6’4”) tall”) and when you are tootling down to the shops the standard rack and kickstand really come in to their own. It’s also great of course to put on the train or in your car, campervan or caravan for days out and holidays.

To prepare the bike for sale I have fitted; a new chain, new cassette, new gear shifter, new rear tyre (plenty of tread left on the front) new front and rear brake calipers and brake blocks. All of the brake and gear cables have been replaced, as have the front wheel bearings. The pedal crank bearings (AKA bottom bracket) have been cleaned and re-greased.

This is a bike that has lived the folding life and has some bumps and bruises to show for it, so take a good look at the photos, particularly around the top of the crossbar and the hinge, the both forks, rack and rear stays.

Collect in person from Farnham Common between Beaconsfield and Slough. Alternatively, by prior arrangement , I can meet you at Datchet, Gerrards Cross or Taplow stations if you are travelling by train to collect
