Dahon Speed D7 Folding Bike - Cracked Frame - For Parts

This Dahon Speed D7 is a 20-inch folding bike built around Dahon's proven folding system, using an aluminium frame paired with seven-speed derailleur gears and V-brakes for reliable everyday stopping power. The frame has a crack in the hinge, which is why it's being sold for parts, but the mechanical components are largely intact and functional. The front tyre is new, and the rear tyre was changed six months ago, so both should have reasonable life left in them.

The seven-speed setup gives you enough range for mixed urban terrain without the complexity of a full cassette, and the derailleur gears are straightforward to maintain and adjust. V-brakes are simple and direct, offering good modulation for city riding, and the 20-inch wheels are typical for folding bikes, giving you reasonable agility in traffic whilst keeping the folded package reasonably compact. For someone looking to build or repair a folding commuter, or who needs parts from a Dahon, the mechanical spec here is solid.

Collection only, and the seller is open to offers if you have questions about condition or want to discuss price. If you're handy with frame repair or sourcing replacement hinges, this could be a worthwhile project bike.
