Brompton T-Line 12 speed Titanium S-Type Lower Handlebar - Unused in box
This is a Brompton T-Line 12 speed folding bike with a titanium frame and low handlebar stem, built in the UK and designed for commuters who need a compact bike that folds small enough to carry onto trains or store in tight spaces. The bike is completely unused and still in its original box, having been bought a month ago but never ridden. The seller has proof of purchase available if needed.
The T-Line uses a Grade 9 titanium main frame with a welded construction and cast titanium bottom bracket manifold, keeping weight down to 8.8kg. That's noticeably lighter than Brompton's steel models, which makes a real difference when you're regularly lifting the bike in and out of bags or up stairs. The frame folds to 25.3 inches tall by 23 inches wide by 10.6 inches deep, the signature Brompton lateral fold that's become the reference point for compact bikes.
The 12-speed drivetrain combines a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed hub gear with a 4-speed derailleur, giving a 402% range across an 11-13-15-18 tooth sprocket set. This setup works well for urban riding with mixed terrain, offering enough flexibility without the maintenance demands of a full derailleur system. The crankset is Superlight carbon, and the bottom bracket is an FSA Mega Evo, both contributing to the overall lightness.
The build is thoroughly considered throughout. The one-piece carbon fork includes a magnetic pedal holder for when the bike is folded, while the Advance Superlight rear frame features a replaceable hanger and 54mm roller wheels that support the fold. Superlight components are used across the seat post, saddle, and cnc-machined aluminium pedals (including a left-hand quick-release option). The hinge clamps and seat clamp are machined aluminium in anodised matt black, and dual pivot caliper brakes provide reliable stopping power for city speeds.
The wheels use lightweight rims with double-butted spokes and aluminium hubs. The front wheel has sealed bearings and an allen key axle, while the rear sits on a 4-speed freehub. Schwalbe ONE tyres with Addix Race rubber and V-Guard puncture protection are fitted to Tubolito S-tubo tubes that weigh just 34g. Mudguards are included, and a front carrier block adaptor lets you attach Brompton's range of luggage systems. Lighting is reflectors only, so you'll want to add your own lights for evening commuting.
The original RRP is £4900. This one has never been ridden, making it a straightforward purchase if you're after a Brompton T-Line 12 speed with the lower handlebar configuration and don't want to wait for a new order.
