Brompton SL2 (two speed) folding bike in white. I bought this off EBay in Jan 2017 and the owner at the time had only ridden it three times. It’s been lightly used since I’ve owned it and was predominantly for riding between stations at either end of my commute. A job change meant it’s not really been used the last couple years, which is why it’s up for sale. It’s in great condition under than cosmetic marks expected of a bike this age. Also the roller wheel on the rear mudguard appears to have fallen off so that will need replacing, which is an inexpensive part. Also I clipped the left pedal on a risen tree stump so the end is bent, but doesn’t impact the functionality.
I have also upgraded a lot of parts on the bike:
-Seatpost is a lighter titanium one
-Fabric Scoop saddle
-Ti rear locking bolts
-Brake calipers are Swisstop blue
-Pedals are MKS made in Japan Promenade double sided pedals that are removable.
-Pedal holder to insert pedal when folded so not in the way
-New silver crank and 52t chainring
-New lighter seatpost clamp mechanism
-Temple cycle hand grips
-Brompton front bag also included
-New KMC chain probably only done 20-30 miles of use.
-Conti contact Urban tires have probably only done 50 miles of use.
Collection only from SW20 postcode. However happy to travel a few miles out to drop off. I work in Basingstoke so could also drop it off somewhere near there.
