Brompton P-Line Urban - 4-Speed - Bolt Blue Lacquer
£1,434.70 GBP
I'm selling my Brompton P-Line which I've owned since the middle of last year from JE James Cycles in Sheffield.
I thought that I would enjoy having two Bromptons but at the end of the day, I just don't ride it.
It has just sat in our spare bedroom for a few months.
For those who don't know, the P-Line is the (considerably) lighter version of the normal, C-Line Brompton.
The Frame is Steel, but the Rear Triangle and Fork are made from Titanium.
There are also other components on the P-Line which are lighter than the ones on the C-Line.
It's in as close to new condition as a bike can be.
It's never been ridden in the rain.
I have provided a screenshot of my Strava where you'll see that it's only been ridden for just over 300 miles (my other has 6000+ miles on it and is still going strong).
I have only made two modifications:
The first was to remove mudguards (I thought it looked cooler).
I still have them and they will obviously come with the bike.
The second was to remove the chain guard from the chain ring as it made it really annoying to clean.
I still have this as well.
The spec:
- Medium Handlebar Size
- 4-speed with a 54 tooth chain ring
- Superlight Brompton Saddle (although I don't think it has carbon rails)
- Brompton Superlight Quick-Release Pedals
- I believe this P-Line comes with lighter wheels as well.
I've put the bike up as "Collection Only" as I'm not even sure how I would pack it correctly and would be worried it would be damaged in transit. Please don't ask for me to send it to you.
I genuinely think these bikes are awesome. Anyone looking at this, I'm guessing, has already done their research about it but I will still say that I would recommend them to anyone who wants and high quality, incredibly convenient bike.
Cheers for reading 👍
P.S. Brompton's ride a lot more like a "normal" bike than you'd think, but if you're considering this bike and have never ridden one, I'd recommend test riding one before you buy it. Just to make sure you're okay with it.
