Brompton P Line 4 Speed 2023 Mid Handlebar Folding Bike - Midnight Black

The Brompton P Line 4 Speed is a British-made steel folding bike designed for cyclists who want something noticeably lighter and more responsive than the entry-level C Line. Purchased new in August 2023, this is the 16-inch wheel 4-speed model finished in Midnight Black, equipped with side-pull caliper brakes and derailleur gears that handle urban hills and varied terrain without fuss.

This is the Super Roller Edition, which means it comes with a rear rack and roller wheels built in. That makes a real difference when you're wheeling the bike through train stations, airports or busy shopping areas. Instead of carrying it, you can roll it alongside you, which takes the strain out of moving a folded bike through crowded spaces. The fold itself is the Brompton lateral design—compact enough to fit under a desk or into a luggage rack, and it becomes routine after a few goes.

The bike is in good mechanical condition and rides exactly as it should. Cosmetically, there are a couple of honest marks from normal use: a small scuff on the seatpost and a minor paint mark where a lock rubbed against the frame beneath the handlebars. The grey-charcoal finish is otherwise very good, with no significant dents or scratches. The frame has lost a bit of its gloss over time with regular riding, which is typical wear.

The sale includes the official Brompton Front Roller Bag, a Radical Design travel bag (unused) which is ideal for flights or protecting the bike during transport, and the original purchase receipt from Brompton Junction Munich. If you want it, the lightweight folding lock that caused the handlebar mark is included too. Collection is from W2 in central London, and postage can be arranged on request.
