Brompton Nickel Edition Ni

The Brompton Nickel Edition Ni is a British-made steel folding bike that folds down to a compact package suited to commuters and urban riders who need to mix cycling with public transport or storage in tight spaces. This 2017 model comes finished in silver and uses Brompton's proven lateral fold mechanism to collapse into a manageable size for carrying on trains, buses, or storing in a small flat.

The steel frame is built to last, and this particular example has been recently serviced by Brompton, so everything is in working order. It runs 16-inch wheels with new tyres fitted, paired with caliper brakes and hub gears for straightforward maintenance and reliable stopping power. The 2-speed hub gear setup keeps things simple for urban riding and works well for navigating city streets without needing complex derailleur adjustments.

This bike has been customised with several upgrades that make it more comfortable and practical for regular use. It features an extendable seat post so you can dial in the right riding position, paired with an Ergon saddle and orange Ergon grips that offer better comfort than standard equipment. A suspension block with orange wheels, bike stand on the rear fork, and bottle and phone holders add functionality without complicating the design. The fold itself has remained untouched, so you get the classic Brompton package that fits under a desk or into a luggage rack.

The sale includes two Brompton front carry bags in different sizes (approximately 42cm x 14cm x 26cm and 52cm x 25cm x 33cm), a Brompton factory seat as a spare, extra Ergon grips, a carry strap to fix to the frame, and a set of valve caps including two black and two Union Jack designs.
