Brompton M6R Folding Bike - Black/Red, Dynamo - Luggage rack

This is a used Brompton M6R, a British-made steel folding bike in black with red accents. The bike is rideable and can be ridden away today, though it would benefit from an overall clean to freshen it up. It comes equipped with a dynamo hub and integrated lights, so you're sorted for visibility in poor conditions without needing to add separate lights later. There's also a luggage rack fitted, which is useful for carrying everyday bits around town.

The M6R uses Brompton's lateral fold design, which collapses the bike down to a genuinely compact package that fits easily into train luggage racks, car boots, or under a desk at work. The steel frame is robust and built to last, and the 16-inch wheels are what you get across the Brompton range—they make the bike quick to fold and responsive in urban traffic, though they do need a bit more cadence to maintain speed on longer flat runs. The side-pull caliper brakes are straightforward and reliable, and hub gears keep maintenance low since there's no derailleur to adjust or worry about.

The dynamo hub means you get lights powered by your wheel as you ride, which removes the faff of charging batteries or replacing cells. It does add a tiny bit of rolling resistance, but most riders find it a worthwhile trade-off for the convenience and safety benefit. The luggage rack opens up carrying options for panniers or a small bag, making this a practical choice for commuting or regular shopping trips mixed with public transport.

Delivery is available nationwide through APC Courier, or you can collect from SW12 if you're local.
