Brompton M6L Black Edition Rocket Red 6 Speed Dynamo Lights

This is a Brompton M6L folding bike in the sought-after Rocket Red finish, equipped from the factory with dynamo lighting for both front and rear. It's a genuine Black Edition model that's been well looked after and remains in good mechanical condition. The bike shows cosmetic signs of wear consistent with normal use, so take a look at the photos to get a proper sense of its overall condition.

The M6L uses Brompton's characteristic steel frame and lateral fold, which compresses the bike down to a compact package suitable for train racks, car boots, or storing in a small flat. With six speeds via hub gears, this model handles typical urban terrain and modest hills without fussing. The 16-inch wheels are nimble in traffic and keep the folded size manageable, though they do mean a bit more pedalling effort on longer flat stretches compared to larger wheels.

Factory dynamo lighting is genuinely useful for year-round commuting. It means reliable lights without needing batteries or USB charging, and they work regardless of how much you've used the bike. A front carrier block is already fitted, which means you can add Brompton's own luggage range straight away if you need to carry things regularly. The L-version mudguards are included, keeping you cleaner in wet weather.

Mechanically, the bike folds and rides as it should. It's been stored indoors and comes with the original Brompton box, warranty documentation, owner's manuals, and the original frame-mounted pump. Collection is by appointment only at Helensburgh Central Railway Station in Scotland, and you're welcome to inspect it thoroughly before completing the purchase. The bike is sold as seen following your inspection.
