It's a British-made steel frame with Brompton's characteristic compact fold, designed to collapse down to a size that fits under a desk or into a train luggage rack. The bike has covered minimal mileage—mostly used as a last-leg commute tool or for local errands like grocery runs, with just two longer 30-mile trips on the clock besides that. It's been serviced recently at a local bike shop and has spent most of the past year stored away, so it's in working order but hasn't seen regular use since June 2025.

The M6L runs a 6-speed transmission with 16-inch wheels, giving you enough gears for mixed terrain without the weight penalty of a heavier drivetrain. The bike comes with a large rolltop bag for carrying shopping or kit when folded, plus practical extras including a maintenance manual, pump, and a copy of "The Brompton" book. There's spare helicopter tape included if you want to rewrap areas of the frame for protection. The wheels are new—they've been swapped in because the originals were worn, and the replacement set comes in the bag ready to use. The saddle has been replaced with a fresh one from stock, and the grips are Ergon GP3s, which are comfortable for longer spells in the saddle. There is a slight dent above the fork on the front left that's been covered with helicopter tape, but it doesn't affect the bike's function.

The bike was purchased new from Evans Cycle in 2022 and remains enjoyable to ride. It's ideally suited for collection, though postage is available via Royal Mail for £52. The seller is happy to reduce the asking price by £50 if you arrange collection in person, or to use £50 of the purchase price towards posting if that's more practical.
