Brompton M6L 2018 Black 6-Speed Folding Bike – Very Light Use, Under 10 Miles

I bought this Brompton new in 2018 and estimate that it has covered less than 10 miles in total.

My original intention was to take it aboard my light aircraft for getting around when visiting other airfields. However, I soon discovered that many destinations provided bicycles—and later e-bikes—to borrow, so it was hardly used.

A possible career change would have involved commuting to London, which would have given it more use, but I ultimately took a role closer to home. It has spent approximately the past six years stored indoors in a cupboard. Realistically, I am unlikely to use it, so it is time for it to find a new home.

Specification

• M6L model with standard-height raised handlebars.

• Six gears, operated through two handlebar selectors.

• Black steel frame.

• 16-inch wheels.

• Silver front and rear mudguards.

• Front luggage carrier block fitted.

• No rear luggage rack.

• Manufactured in September 2018.

Condition

The bike remains very close to its original condition. There are a few small blemishes on the paintwork where it rubbed against other items while travelling in the back of my car.

It still has its original tyres, with full tread remaining, and the mudguards show very little evidence of use. Please examine the photographs for the overall condition and cosmetic marks.

The mileage is my best estimate rather than a recorded odometer reading.

Included in the sale

The Brompton bicycle as pictured, including its fitted mudguards and front luggage carrier block.

I am also selling a compatible Brompton front bag separately. It fits this bike perfectly but is not included in this listing.
