Brompton M6R (2017) – Raw Lacquer – Schmidt Dynamo, Brooks, Brompton O Bag – Many Upgrades

For sale is my 2017 Brompton M6RU in the raw lacquer finish, which shows off the hand-brazed joints under clear lacquer. It’s in excellent condition, with the honest patina you’d expect on raw lacquer: there are some light surface marks, which are shown in the photos. Mechanically it’s spot on, and it folds and rides perfectly. It has been thoughtfully upgraded throughout, so it’s ready for commuting or touring.

• Schmidt SON hub dynamo powering a Luminox front light and a Brompton (Spanninga) rear light, so there are no batteries to charge
• Brooks Cambium saddle
• Brooks leather handlebar grips
• Upgraded wave-spring suspension unit
• Upgraded alloy rolling wheels on the frame (four rollers in total) for smoother wheeling when folded
• Schwalbe Marathon Plus puncture-resistant tyres
• Brompton O Bag (made with Ortlieb), orange, with shoulder strap: used but fully functional and waterproof
