This One mature owned from brand new (but not been used due to an unsuitable relocation shortly after purchase) May 2002 built Brompton M3R folding bicycle remains in what can only be described as in amazing timewarp, all original condition throughout having covered just a handful of miles at the very most.
Rare to find an early mk3 model still having ALL of it’s original parts plus upgrades including :
Brompton rear alloy luggage rack fitted with original bungee straps.
AXA Bottle Dynamo powered front & rear lights.
Brompton puncture resistant tyres.
Brompton Zefal frame fitted Tyre Pump.
Large Brompton‘patents worldwide’ decal.
Original sales cardboard tag on saddle tab.
Original 2002 model year sales brochure.
The original high Gloss British Racing Green & Black paint finish remains in new condition with no obvious nasty imperfections having been stored indoors from new.
Both wheel rims remain shiny silver unworn, the same with both tyres which are the original tyres with the centrelines clearly visible on both, fully inflated with new tread, no splits or perishing, checked over/adjusted, and it’s all in fully functional excellent working order, having smooth working Caliper brakes, with the Sachs 3 speed hub gear mechanism shifting smoothly
using the tried and tested thumb type shifter.
This unique Brompton is completely as new, in smooth running order ready for the new owner to enjoy.
