This January 2014 built Brompton M3L C line model comes in a very rare factory order Raw Laquer and remains in excellent used clean condition throughout. This is a light leisure used Brompton not a hard commuted example mature/elderly owned from new!.
The assist conversion uses a Cyclotricity Motor Hub mounted on a quality Sun Rim and paired with a powerful 36W Full river LifeP04 battery.
All the controls are strapped firmly to the front fork and cable run bound to existing cabling to the LCD screen which offers 5 power assist levels plus a boost throttle lever.
The battery plugs into a connector plug within the Ortlieb mini O bag that then fits onto the modified Brompton front luggage block and powers the bike.
The wheel rims remain both flat and shiny silver showing no signs of any significant wear, along with a br as d new rear Schwalbe Marathon tyre with front having deep tread remaining, same lack of heavy wear to all four brake pads, saddle & ergonomic rubber grips (just a little end wear from being meant against rough wall).
Both the Brompton pedals are both smooth with no heavy wear or play in the bearings.
The only negatives with this particular example are some minor cosmetic surface marks/scratches from getting on/off folding/unfolding and storage and to rear triangle frame from folded pedal clashing with the frame whilst folding/unfolding all to be expected on any used folding bike.
There is a small split in the flap end of the front mudguard which is sound and not affecting the performance of the mudguard.
Mechanically all is in excellent working order as you would expect from any of my used Bromptons, having been fully cleaned, checked over/adjusted where necessary ready for the new owner.
The brakes are both smooth & sharp, all 3 hub gears shift smoothly up and down.
Being a 2014 model this Brompton comes with most of the later upgraded specification including:
Standard 44T interchangeable alloy Spider Chainset.
Brompton dual pivot brake calipers with black logo levers.
Frame latch kit to hold bike together when lifting it in the riding position.
Sturmey Archer alloy gear hub with the robust tried and tested Brompton gear shifter.
