Brompton G Line with Roller Frame Adventure Medium Orange 2025 + £1000 upgrades

This is a Brompton G Line folding bike in Medium Orange, a British-made steel machine that's been looked after meticulously since purchase from Balfe's Bikes Fulham in January 2025. The bike has had two full services—an initial setup check in February and a comprehensive service by Condor Cycles in May—and hasn't been ridden since. It's in perfect working order and ready to ride immediately.

The G Line is genuinely capable across different terrain and riding styles. What's striking about Brompton's engineering is how a bike this compact manages to ride like a full-sized machine. The 20-inch steel frame folds down to a manageable size for train travel or storage, yet the ride feel remains composed and direct. There are some very minor marks on the paintwork near the drivetrain—entirely normal wear from regular use—but these don't affect the bike's durability or function.

The bike is set up tubeless using Muc-Off V2 valves and Stan's sealant, which gives you the benefits of tubeless rolling without the hassle of traditional tubes. A significant amount of money has been invested in upgrades and accessories totalling over £1000. The componentry includes a Brooks C17 saddle (showing minimal wear on one side), Ergon GP4 grips in large size, and MKS Sylvan Stream pedals that are detachable and notably higher quality than stock. The Brompton Superlight Carbon seatpost saves 30 per cent weight compared to the standard item, weighing just 281g, and suits riders with approximately 33-inch inside leg measurement. This upgrade also allows the G Line to fold to a smaller height.

Lighting and visibility are well covered with an official Brompton G Line front light and Knog Blinder Link rear light. Navigation and connectivity use a Brompton Quadlock phone mount. Rolling the folded bike is handled by VOKUL scooter wheels in 100mm, which provide significantly better control and ease than stock roller wheels when pushing through a train station or on the street. There's also an Ergotec kickstand, a 3-inch bar end mirror for traffic awareness, and a Fidlock magnetic bottle cage for bottle or accessories.

The bike comes with the B&W transport bag in heavy-duty material, which makes coach and Eurostar travel straightforward. Lumiere & Co handlebar bag is included and detachable. The drivetrain uses an official Brompton 44T chain ring and guard assembly, which provides improved climbing and a lower gearing ratio. Roller rack straps are included alongside a carry bag for the pedals. The bike has the Off Yer Bike handle fitted for easier carrying when folded. Everything has been stored indoors and maintained by someone who clearly understands bicycles well.
