Description from Brompton website:
What is the Brompton G Line?
The iconic folding bike, built to go further.
G Line combines the ride feel of a full-size bike with Brompton's compact fold. Bigger wheels and confident handling make it our most versatile bike yet.
Features
Expertly engineered to go where others can’t. G Line is the first ever Brompton with the ride feel of a full-size bike. Brand-new geometry, 20” wheels, game-changing comfort and capability. All holistically designed around the fold that made us famous. It's your one-bike solution to the city and beyond.
20” wheels
Big enough for any adventure yet compact enough to fit inside the fold. The G Line’s solidly built 20” wheelset comes equipped with custom-made puncture-resistant tyres.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Super dependable stopping power. The first ever Brompton to come equipped with disc brakes for all terrain, all-weather riding.
Wide platform pedals
The grippiest, most comfortable Brompton pedal set. The left hand pedal can be released with a quick squeeze and pull to make your folded bike even more compact.
Wide handlebars
Stay in control. With the custom made handlebars, G Line gives you exceptional stability – from leverage on uphills and rough ground to comfort on longer rides.
Ergonomic grips
Every touchpoint between you and the bike is designed with comfort and control in mind.
G Line sizes
G Line comes in three easy-to-choose sizes based on your height. Small, medium or large. The single-size frame has varying stem and seat post heights, developed and tested with a world-leading bike fit expert for the best ride experience.
The seat post is telescopic, which means it can be extended way beyond a normal Brompton. I am 6' 6" and it provides me with more than enough legroom and has been ridden by my wife who is about 5' 5".
It is a gorgeous looking bike, rides really well over tarmac as well as rough gravel and is super versatile (much more rugged than other Brompton models). With it being a folding bike, it is the perfect commuter and it neatly fits in the boot of a car or on a train/bus.
I'll be sad to see it go, but its simply not getting any use.
