It still folds down to a manageable size in around 20 seconds, but the geometry and components are built for riders who want more stability and comfort without sacrificing portability.

The frame is steel with three size options available, though this particular example is marked as Small or Medium. The 20-inch wheels paired with Schwalbe G-One All-Round tyres (54mm wide) give the bike a planted feel and genuine traction on loose surfaces. The tyres are puncture-resistant and tubeless-ready, which matters if you plan to venture off tarmac regularly. Stopping power comes from TRP hydraulic disc brakes with 140mm rotors—a first for Brompton—which work reliably in wet conditions and require less hand effort than traditional calipers.
