Brompton Folding Bicycle – 6 Speed – Green – M-Type Handlebars – 2008

For sale is my father’s Brompton folding bicycle, manufactured in 2008, in the classic green colour.

My father has owned and enjoyed this bike, but unfortunately he is no longer able to ride it due to his age. We would happily keep it, but I already own a Brompton myself, so we feel it would be better for the bike to go to someone who will get good use out of it.

It is a really good commuter’s bicycle, and the Brompton folding design makes it particularly practical for commuting, travelling on public transport, storing at home or keeping in the car.

It has M-type handlebars and is a 6-speed model, with two rear sprockets and 3-speed hub gearing. It folds down neatly for easy storage and transportation.

The bike is in used condition consistent with its age, with some signs of use, but presents well overall. Please see all photographs carefully for the condition.

The relatively new tyres are a nice bonus and mean the bike is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.

This would make an excellent commuter’s bike, particularly for anyone who wants something compact and easy to combine with train/public transport journeys.

Please note: This is a used bicycle from 2008, so it is not being sold as a new or refurbished bike. There are some cosmetic marks and age-related signs of use, as would be expected from a bicycle of this age. Please study the photographs carefully.

Collection preferred, although the buyer is welcome to arrange suitable collection/courier arrangements.

Selling only because my father can no longer ride it and I already have my own Brompton. It would be a shame for it to sit unused, so we hope it will go to someone who can make good use of it.
