Brompton Folding Bike 6-Speed

This is a Brompton folding bike in 6-speed configuration, finished in green. It's a British-made steel frame built around Brompton's lateral fold design, which collapses the bike into a compact package suited to commuting, storage in flats or offices, and mixing cycling with public transport. The bike has only been ridden a few times and is as new.

The 16-inch wheels and steel frame are typical Brompton spec, designed for the tight fold rather than speed or distance riding. The 6-speed hub gears handle moderate hills without needing regular maintenance, and the side-pull caliper brakes keep stopping power straightforward. Day to day, this works well for short urban journeys where portability and practicality matter more than outright performance. The upright riding position gives decent visibility in traffic, and the compact wheelbase makes the bike nimble when weaving through congestion.

This particular bike was originally £1,900 from John Lewis, making it a significant saving at the asking price given the minimal use and near-new condition.
