Old old bike. Had a massive service by Brompton about 10 years ago, was then oiled and broadly maintained on an ad hoc as I used this as a daily commuter bike from Waterloo to the office on Chancery Lane.
The Brompton service did more than a service - they swapped out the handlebars for these sportier ones, and added the “trigger” that allows the bike to fold - added to ease running up stairs followed by wheeling the bike across the station when I was invariably running g for the train. The elastics have long perished (but can be replaced - I recall them being quite useful in their day).
A great bike that has served me well, but is wasted in my garage. The bike can be collected from me in Hartford, or I can bring it in to London on one of my weekly trips (Tuesdays).
I idea how to price this so I have pitched the “buy it now” well below the recommendation and opened with a low auction starting price, so this could be had for a song!
