The Reality:

I’ve had this from new, but let’s be honest, it’s spent more time looking good than actually being ridden. It’s in "hardly used" condition and hasn’t been out in the rain, ever (I’m not about that life). If you want a brand-new’ish electric Brompton without paying the £2,900+ retail price, this is it.

The Specs:

• Model: Electric C Line, 4-Speed (Mid-handlebar).

• Colour: Pop Lilac (Matte finish; looks way better than the Amethyst Lacquer).

• Power: 250w Rear Motor. Comes with the battery and charger. Everything works exactly as it should.

The "Catch" (Read this):

1. The Setup: It’s currently professionally adapted for single-arm use (one brake lever controls both). This was done by the Brompton experts at Covent Garden. If you want it back to standard, you’ll need to take it to a mechanic. I don’t have the spare lever, so you’ll need to grab one.

2. The Paperwork: I don’t have it. It got lost when I moved house. It’s a genuine bike, owned by me from new, if that’s a dealbreaker for you, no hard feelings, but the price reflects the simplicity of the sale.

Why buy it?

You can't get this color easily anymore, and you certainly won't find one this clean for two grand.
