Brompton CHPT3 V4

This Brompton CHPT3 V4 is a British-made steel folding bike that's barely been used, with just 200km on the clock and in near-perfect condition. The steel frame is paired with lightweight Brompton wheels, giving the bike a responsive feel from the moment you start riding. It uses Brompton's 4-speed hub gears with quick shifters that engage smoothly and reliably, keeping the drivetrain straightforward and maintenance-free. At 16 inches, the wheels are typical for Brompton's design, making the bike quick-witted in urban traffic and enabling it to fold down into something genuinely portable and storable.

The bike was purchased new from Brompton in March 2023 at a retail price of £2,595, and the low mileage means it's essentially unused. The compact fold is practical for anyone juggling cycling with public transport, storage in a flat, or carrying the bike up stairs. The steel construction feels solid underfoot without being heavy, and the lighter wheel set helps keep the overall package manageable. Day to day, this is a bike that handles the stop-start rhythm of city riding with ease, and the quick shifters work without fuss whether you're accelerating away from traffic lights or settling into a steady pace. The bike is currently on the Isle of Wight but can be delivered to Southsea, Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington for a small fee.
