Brompton C-Line Explore-Black Lacquer
£1,638.70 GBP
This is a Brompton C-Line Explore in black lacquer, a British-made steel folding bike in very good used condition. It's been regularly serviced and works perfectly, making it ready to ride straightaway. The bike features Brompton's characteristic compact fold, which collapses down to a size that fits easily into a locker, under a desk, or in train luggage racks—handy if you're mixing cycling with public transport or need to store it in a small space.
The frame is steel, which gives the bike a solid feel and durability typical of Brompton's reputation for longevity. It rolls on 16-inch wheels and uses a 6-speed hub gear system with side-pull caliper brakes. The hub gears mean minimal maintenance and reliable shifting, whilst the 16-inch wheels keep the overall footprint small and make the bike quick and responsive in urban traffic. The lateral fold becomes intuitive after a few rides, and the bike handles the daily grind of city commuting well.
The seller is moving abroad and is open to offers on this particular bike. A helmet is included in the sale. Collection only, no delivery available. This is a solid choice for anyone wanting a practical, proven folding bike without the premium of buying new.
