Brompton C Line Explore 2023 Racing Green 6 Speed - with storage bag

The Brompton C Line Explore is a lightweight folding bike built around daily commuting, city riding and the sort of journeys where you'll need to hop on and off public transport. It's a British-made steel frame that folds down to the compact footprint Brompton is known for, small enough to store under a desk or carry onto a train. This 2023 model comes in racing green and runs a straightforward 6-speed setup that's been fitted with a 40T chainset, making it a more relaxed proposition for everyday riding around town than sportier alternatives.

The bike rolls on 16-inch Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres, which suit urban riding well, and features mudguards as standard so you're not caught out by wet roads. There's a front carrier block for fitting a bag or basket, and the handlebar is Brompton's mid-raise design that puts you in an upright position for good visibility in traffic. Rim brakes handle stopping duties, and the pedals fold away as part of the compact design. You get the Brompton cover included, which makes life easier when you're carrying the bike around.

This particular bike is in used condition but has only been ridden twice. There are some cosmetic marks around the mudguards, rack and frame areas as you'd expect from light use, but nothing that affects how it rides or folds. The fold mechanism works correctly. It comes with a Brompton pump and roller wheels as part of the package. Collection is available from Salturn by the Sea.
