This is a 2020 Brompton C Line Electric, a British-made folding bike with a 250W front hub motor that takes the effort out of urban cycling. With 1,650 miles on the clock, it remains in good condition and ready for commuting, errands, and weekend rides where you'd normally think twice about hills or distance. The compact fold brings it down to 25.3 by 23 by 10.6 inches, which makes it genuinely portable—small enough to carry onto trains, stash in an office corner, or take upstairs to a flat.
The frame is built from heat-treated steel tubing with hand brazing and selected auto-brazed joints, giving it the durability Brompton is known for. The fork is reinforced steel specifically designed for electric use, so it's up to the job of handling the motor's torque. You get 16-inch wheels paired with a Sturmey Archer 6-speed hub gear, which keeps the drivetrain simple and low-maintenance while still giving you options on varied terrain. Front and rear fenders come as standard, so you're covered for wet weather without needing to bolt on mudguards later.
The motor itself produces 24 newton metres of torque, enough to smooth out climbs and take the sting out of stop-start city riding without feeling over-powered. The 300Wh detachable battery is the real practical touch—it clips securely to the frame but comes away so you can charge it at your desk, in a café, or anywhere convenient rather than wheeling the entire bike to a plug. The charger and frame number come with the bike. Note that no pedals are included unless shown in the product images.
