The Brompton C Line E is a British-made folding bike that combines the legendary compact design of the original Brompton with electric assistance. The rear wheel features a Brompton wide-ratio 3-speed internal gear hub with 2-speed external gears (13 and 16 tooth), combined with Brompton trigger shifters. The electric motor is a 250W brushless DC unit mounted in the front wheel, providing assistance up to 25 kph. The bottom bracket has an integrated sealed bearing with cadence and torque sensors to manage the assist appropriately. Stopping power comes from Brompton dual-pivot caliper brakes on both wheels. The 349 x 35C Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres are puncture-resistant with reflective sidewalls, and the bike includes mudguards and a dynamo lighting system as standard. A Brompton pump with a flexible hose that works with both Schrader and Presta valves is supplied.
