C Line is the original steel folding bike built for the city. Proudly handmade in London since 1975. It transforms from a go-anywhere vehicle to a small, locked package in under 20 seconds. Easy to lift, carry or store. You can take it on trains, tuck it in car boots or under restaurant tables. Add luggage, run a rack, and even store a toolkit inside the frame.

T The latest development is the C Line 12-speed, brought in to accompany the 2 and 6-speed options. First seen on the P Line model, Brompton's unique 12-speed system is an expertly engineered solution that gives riders more gears and more range. It takes portability of Brompton’s classic bike to a whole new level, thanks to an Advance Rear Frame which allows owners to glide and steer their folded bikes through railway stations and entrance foyers with the seat post locked halfway up.

• Rear Wheel: Double-wall rim, 28 spokes laced to a Brompton Wide ratio 3 speed internal gear hub with 4 speed external gears. Giving 12 usable gears.

• Tyres: 349 x 35C Schwalbe Marathon Racer. A puncture resistant tyre with a reflective sidewall.



• Mudguards: Advanced Mudguards.



• Roller Wheels: 66mm roller wheels.

Drivetrain:

• Crank: (6061) forged aluminium crank with 50T chainring and integrated chainguard



• Derailleur: Brompton 4 speed derailleur



• Chain Tensioner: Designed to deal with the large variations in chain whilst being folded and unfolded.



• Shifters: 4 and 3 speed Trigger shifters



• Bottom Bracket: Square taper bottom bracket

• Grips: Lock-on grips with soft-compound rubber adhered to an engineered core

• Saddle: Brompton saddle with integrated carry handle (147mm). Incorporates a mount for a Brompton rear light and saddle bag.



• Seatpost: Chromoly steel tube, centreless ground, chrome plated for hardness, delivered in a standard length, suitable for maximum inside leg 33 inches / 84 cm

Please Note: The fork axle hook has the end snapped off (as shown in the pats photo) so this doesn't fully hold the bike when together when folded.
