This is a Brompton C Line 12-speed folding bike in ocean blue, a British-made steel-framed machine built for urban commuting and practical daily riding. The bike was purchased new in August 2025 and remains in good condition, with only a minor scrape on the left side of the rear frame that's been colour-matched and is barely visible. At its core, the C Line uses Brompton's distinctive lateral fold, which compresses the bike small enough to carry onto trains, store under desks, or wheel through crowded commutes without taking up much space.
The 12-speed hub gear setup gives decent range for varied terrain without the maintenance headaches of a derailleur system, and the side-pull caliper brakes are responsive and straightforward to adjust. The 16-inch wheels are typical for folding bikes, making the package compact whilst still feeling stable during everyday riding. The steel frame is durable and predictable underfoot, absorbing road buzz reasonably well for this class of bike.
The bike comes with useful additions that make it ready to ride straight away. There's a medium-sized front bag perfect for carrying essentials, a pump for roadside top-ups, Ergon grips and saddle for comfort on commutes, Shimano M520 SPD pedals for secure footwork, a Monkii Dom bottle cage, and a rechargeable Cat Eye light set paired with a Cat Eye cycle computer.
