Brompton Bumblebee - C Line - 6 speed - 2023

The 2023 Brompton Bumblebee C Line is a British-made steel folding bike designed for commuting and everyday city riding. It folds down in seconds to a compact size that fits easily under a desk, into a locker, or onto public transport, making it ideal for anyone juggling cycling with other forms of travel or dealing with limited storage at home or work. The steel frame is built to last, and the lateral fold mechanism works exactly as it should.

This model comes equipped with 6-speed gearing, which gives enough range to handle city traffic, gentle hills, and longer commutes without becoming difficult to manage. The 16-inch wheels are nimble in urban environments and contribute to the tight fold. Electric lights on both the front and rear keep you visible in poor light, and the fitted mudguards mean you can ride through wet conditions without spray turning your clothes into a mess. Brompton easy wheels are fitted, so rolling the folded bike across a platform or car park is straightforward and takes the strain out of moving it around when it's collapsed.

The bike rides well and handles the stop-start rhythm of city cycling with the upright riding position giving good visibility in traffic. A black clip-on front bag is included, which is useful for keeping essentials within reach or securing smaller items. The bike is in good working condition and ready to ride. It suits anyone looking for a practical, no-fuss commuter that doesn't demand much maintenance and fits into a genuinely portable package.
